June 18, 2026โ€”The Capiz State University-Main Campus served as the venue for an Information Caravan on the revised guidelines of the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Dependents (CoScho) at the Dadivas Gymnasium. The activity was conducted through the partnership of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).

The program was organized to provide updated information about the scholarship and encourage more qualified coconut farmers and their family members to pursue higher education. Graduating senior high school students, college learners, and prospective applicants were among those who attended the event.

In his message, University Focal Person Dr. Cleo Jude Joaquin emphasized the importance of educational assistance programs in creating opportunities for students from farming communities. He highlighted how initiatives such as CoScho help make quality education more accessible and support the dreams of young learners.

Representatives from CHED and PCA central and regional offices, officials from the Student Affairs and Services (SAS), Guidance Counseling Services, and officers from the Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP) of Capiz State University-Main Campus, together with coconut farmers and their dependents, participated in the event, reaffirming their shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities through the CoScho Program.

The PAG HILIUSA provided a platform for the newly elected student leaders to deepen their understanding of leadership and its responsibilities. Through the leadership training, participants were encouraged to reflect on their roles as catalysts for positive change and to embrace the challenges that come with leading. June 11, 2026 โ€” The Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP) held its 2nd General Meeting to discuss preparations and assigned responsibilities for the upcoming Recognition Ceremony, Pagpasidungog, Hooding Ceremonies, and Commencement Ceremony for A.Y. 2025โ€“2026. Updates regarding the Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) for A.Y. 2026โ€“2027 were also presented and discussed.

The meeting brought together FLP officers and members to coordinate plans, share updates, and ensure that every task and activity is well-prepared. It served as an opportunity for everyone to contribute ideas and work together toward the successful implementation of upcoming programs and events.

More than a meeting, it was a reminder that leadership is built through cooperation, commitment, and shared responsibility. As we continue to move forward, FLP remains dedicated to serving the student community and creating meaningful opportunities for growth and leadership.
