🏠❤️‍🩹 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀. 𝗡𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁, 𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻.

Sa likod ng bawat biktima ng karahasan ay isang kwento ng sakit, takot, at pakikipaglaban. Walang sinuman—anumang kasarian, edad, o pagkakakilanlan—ang dapat mapilitang manatili sa isang mapang-abusong kapaligiran dahil lamang wala silang mapuntahan.

Kaya't buong puso naming sinusuportahan ang 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗼. 10044 𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 2026, isang panukalang magtatatag ng ligtas na mga halfway houses at shelters sa bawat lungsod at lalawigan sa bansa. Layunin nitong tiyakin na ang bawat survivor ng gender-based violence at iba pang anyo ng pang-aabuso ay may agarang access sa proteksyon, pansamantalang tirahan, serbisyong medikal, psychosocial support, at legal na tulong upang makapagsimulang muli.

Ang tunay na hustisya ay hindi lamang pagparusa sa nang-abuso—ito rin ay ang pagbibigay ng ligtas na espasyo, dignidad, at panibagong pag-asa sa mga nakaligtas.

Hindi dapat tanungin ang isang survivor kung saan siya pupunta pagkatapos humingi ng tulong. Dapat ay may Bahay Kanlungan na naghihintay sa kanya.

Today, we 𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒 and ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑟 non-binary individuals and everyone who courageously embraces and expresses their 𝑎𝑢𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑐 selves.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

Marking the official transfer of authority and leadership to the newly appointed officers of the Gender and Development Club of Commonwealth High School (GAD-CHS), today's highlight was the Formal Turnover Ceremony. Led by former GAD-CHS President John Emmanuel Torres under the guidance of GAD-CHS Adviser Dr. Dianna Rose Apilada, the ceremony formally vested the new set of officers with their responsibilities and officially recognized them as the student leaders entrusted to continue the legacy and mission of the previous administrations.

As they assume their respective roles, these officers, together with the commissioners and members of GAD-CHS, reaffirm their commitment to advancing the club's advocacy for gender equality, inclusivity, diversity, and a safe, respectful, and welcoming school community for all Commonwealthians.

The Gender and Development Club remains dedicated to promoting the holistic development of every student by fostering discipline, mutual respect, and awareness while actively working to prevent violence, bullying, harassment, and all forms of discrimination.

With this new generation of GADvocates, alongside the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and other recognized student clubs and organizations, Commonwealth High School continues its shared commitment to building a school where everyone is valued, respected, and empowered.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦

The Gender and Development Club proudly presents the new set of leaders who will serve for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

Following the screening conducted on April 2, 2026, and a thorough evaluation process, the Club has officially recognized the candidates who have demonstrated excellence, commitment, and a strong sense of leadership as the newly appointed officers.

Among all the applicants, only those who exhibited the passion, competence, and dedication to uphold and further the Club’s advocacy were selected. These individuals have shown not only their capability to lead but also their readiness to continue the legacy established by the previous administration.

As they take on this responsibility, the newly appointed officers are expected to champion inclusivity, promote gender awareness, and strengthen the voice of the organization within the school community.

With fresh perspectives and unwavering determination, these new faces are set to lead with purpose, continuing the mission of empowering every individual, regardless of gender, and fostering a more inclusive and progressive environment for all.
