Last October 9, 2026, the College of Architecture and Design – Student Government (CAD-SG) gathered for a meaningful ceremony of gratitude, recognition, and transition as it formally passed the torch of leadership from the outgoing Governor, 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐬𝐞ñ𝐚, to the newly elected Governor, 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭.

The ceremony featured welcoming remarks from 𝐂𝐀𝐃-𝐒𝐆 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫. 𝐃𝐢𝐭𝐳 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨, an inspiring message from the 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐀. 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧, and the presence of 𝐁𝐒 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐚 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧-𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬. Certificates were awarded to the AY 2025–2026 officers in recognition of their remarkable service, while former Governor Oseña presented the accomplishments of the previous term.

Through heartfelt messages, the acceptance speech of the incoming Governor, the ceremonial passing of the CAD-SG plaque, and the formal signing and turnover of documents, the event symbolized the continuity of leadership, accountability, and service to the Sphinx community.

To our Professors, kayo ang tunay na 𝙇𝙤𝙖𝙙-𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙡 ng Arki life namin. 😭

Kayo ang unang nagre-revise ng design, huling nag-a-approve ng plates, at palaging may baong “𝑷𝒘𝒆𝒅𝒆, 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆.” Meron pang “𝑲𝒂𝒚𝒂 𝒎𝒐 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒂 𝒆𝒉, 𝒃𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒈 𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒑 𝒏𝒂 𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒑 𝒌𝒂?” 😂

Whether it’s “𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞” “𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” “𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬” or the classic “𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠” every teacher has their own way of making sure we learn. 😭📚 Bisan gi kapoy na sige ah, go pa!
Pero behind every correction, critique, at “kulang pa” is a teacher helping us build stronger foundations—not just for our plates, but for the architects we hope to become.
