The Philippine Red Cross Rizal Chapter Blood Center proudly announces its successful participation in the 2025 National External Quality Assessment Scheme (NEQAS) for Transfusion Transmissible Infections Blood Screening Serology conducted by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).

We are honored to have received a PASSED rating in both Test Event 1 and Test Event 2, demonstrating our continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and safety in blood screening services.

2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) and Vitamin A Supplementation | Mandaluyong City

In support of the Department of Health’s continuing efforts to protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases, the PRC Rizal Chapter assisted the Mandaluyong City Health Office in the conduct of immunization activities a total of 46 children (24 female and 22 male) received the Measles and Rubella (M&R) Live-Attenuated Vaccine and Vitamin A supplementation.

Vaccination activities were conducted in various communities in Mandaluyong City, with 10 children vaccinated in Barangay Plainview, 23 in Barangay Mauway, and 13 in Barangay Highway Hills.

In addition, 202 community members benefited from health education sessions that emphasized the importance of immunization, proper nutrition, disease prevention, and child health.

Through these initiatives, we continue to strengthen community immunity, prevent measles and rubella outbreaks, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy and protected.

2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity | Taguig City

In support of the Department of Health’s 2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA), a total of 104 children were successfully vaccinated in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.

In addition, 355 community members participated in health education sessions that promoted the importance of immunization, disease prevention, and maintaining healthy practices.

These efforts help strengthen community immunity, protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles and rubella, and contribute to the goal of a healthier and safer community.

Together, through vaccination and health education, we continue to safeguard the well-being of every child and family.

2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity | Parañaque City

In support of the Department of Health’s 2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA), a total of 117 children were successfully vaccinated in Barangay BF Homes, Parañaque City, consisting of 68 female and 49 male children. Vaccination coverage was achieved across several communities, with 61 children vaccinated in Purok 1, 10 in Purok 2, 30 in Purok 4, and 16 in Purok 5.

In addition, 33 community members participated in health education sessions that highlighted the importance of vaccination, disease prevention, and healthy practices.

These efforts contribute to the Department of Health’s goal of protecting children against measles and rubella, preventing outbreaks, and strengthening community immunity. Together, we continue to build healthier, safer, and more resilient communities for every Filipino child.

2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity | Muntinlupa City

A total of 42 children were successfully vaccinated during the conduct of the 2026 Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) in Muntinlupa City. Of the total, 33 children were vaccinated in Barangay Alabang and 9 children in Barangay Bayanan.

This initiative supports the Department of Health’s continuing campaign to protect children from measles and rubella through timely immunization, helping prevent disease outbreaks and strengthen community immunity.

Through the dedication of healthcare workers, volunteers, parents, and local partners, we move closer to ensuring that every child is protected and given the opportunity to grow up healthy and safe.

A total of 38 children were successfully vaccinated, with 13 children vaccinated in Barangay Santolan and 25 children in Barangay San Miguel, Pasig City. In addition, 50 community members benefited from health education sessions that emphasized the importance of immunization, disease prevention, and maintaining healthy practices.

Through these efforts, we continue to support the Department of Health’s campaign to protect every child from vaccine-preventable diseases and promote healthier, more resilient communities.
