Tulong para sa mga apektado ng sunog sa Navotas landfill

Nagpaabot ng tulong ang OMF kasama ang mga employee‑volunteers mula sa Meralco Valenzuela Business Center sa mga residenteng apektado ng patuloy na sunog sa Navotas sanitary landfill, lalo't kabilang sa pinaka-apektado ng mga makapal na usok ang mga residente ng Obando, Bulacan.

Nakatanggap ang mga residente ng coastal barangay na Salambao ng relief packs at KN95 face masks para may maisuot sila habang nagpapatuloy ang usok mula sa naturang landfill at maiwasan ang banta sa kanilang kalusugan. Kamakaila'y inilikas sila at pansamantalang pinatira sa evacuation center sa bayan habang nagpapatuloy ang sunog.

Naisagawa ang pamamahagi ng tulong sa mga apektadong pamilya sa pakikipagtulungan ng Obando Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), habang ang mga KN95 face masks ay ipapaabot ng Obando Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (Obando Mdrrmo) sa mga coastal barangay ng bayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos at malasakit, patuloy na nakikiisa ang OMF sa mga komunidad sa panahon ng pangangailangan, nagbibigay ng tulong, pag-asa, at suporta para sa kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat isa.

Support for Caraga police 👮🏻👮🏻‍♀️

One Meralco Foundation and PLDT-Smart Foundation donated 7,000 drug test kits to the Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) to aid in the organization's internal cleansing program. The availability of test kits will help the regional police force better identify and dismiss erring officers who fail to meet professional standards as part of their commitment to strengthen credibility, transparency, and public trust.

OMF President Jeffrey O Tarayao and PLDT-Smart Foundation representative Lemuel Ruiz were present during the turnover ceremony in Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Libertad, Butuan City this Monday, with PBGEN Marcial Mariano Magistrado IV, Regional Director of PRO13, PCOL Rommel Rumbaoa, Deputy Regional Director for Administration OIC, and PCOL James Goforth, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, Dr. Terence Anthony Vesagas, CEO of Manuel J. Santos Hospital and Ryan Culima, Chairman of Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development 13. We would also like to acknowledge Adrian Jonathan Bautista, Project Management Officer and Chief of Staff of Manuel J. Santos Hospital, who made this partnership possible.

The project is part of OMF's community relations program. By supporting and building a network of partners across various sectors, OMF implements impactful community development projects addressing the priority needs of communities within and beyond the Meralco franchise area.

This International Women's Month, we celebrate these strong, hardworking women who balance working abroad while studying for their college degrees so they can secure a brighter future not just for their families back in the Philippines, but for themselves.

Through a shared commitment to uplifting lives, One Meralco Foundation, PLDT-Smart Foundation, and Metro Pacific Investments Foundation have joined the non-governmental organization Full Phils in supporting these aspirations. Since 2023, the program has empowered 30 scholars via digital learning platforms that allow them to integrate education into their demanding work schedules.

A proud moment for academic achievers in Cebu!

One Meralco Foundation brought the 15th MVP Academic Achievement Awards to MGEN Thermal Cebu, where academic achievers and their parents and siblings working in these Meralco subsidiaries were recognized in an event held in Toledo, Cebu.

15 academic awardees were honored and recognized by OMF President Jeffrey Tarayao and Program Manager Michael Del Rosario along with MGEN Thermal Cebu Site Head Erick Cabarrubias, Cebu Energy Development Corporation OIC Plant Head Ernesto Mercado, Toledo Power Corp. OIC Plant Head Glen Jamero, and Consultant Leah Diaz.
