(KCFI) was recognized for its continued contributions to advancing quality education during the Department of Education (DepEd Philippines) Partners’ Appreciation Program on May 8, 2026. KCFI Vice President Edric Calma received the recognitions on behalf of the organization.

For more than 25 years, KCFI has remained a steadfast partner of DepEd in empowering Filipino learners, teachers, and communities through accessible and engaging educational programs and initiatives.

Advancing education in Calamba City through 21st-century pedagogies 🏫

: KCFI, with the support of Xylem Watermark, successfully conducted the Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-based (LEEP) teacher training program in DepEd Tayo Calamba City, Laguna on May 6 to May 8.

LEEP equips teachers with the competencies to effectively engage learners and create meaningful learning experiences through curriculum-aligned video lessons grounded in 21st-century pedagogies.

Present at the conduct of LEEP were Edric Calma (Vice President, KCFI), Alvin Alvarez (Sales Manager, Xylem), Danie Sedilla-Cruz (Platforms and Partnerships Head, KCFI), Marites Zoleta (Public Schools District Supervisor, SDO Calamba City), and Xylem Watermark volunteers who provided support for the training.

: The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI), in partnership with Xylem Watermark, officially kicked off the 3-day Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-Based Pedagogies (LEEP) training program for teachers in DepEd Tayo Calamba City today, May 6, 2026. Ten schools are beneficiaries of the initiative.

This morning, the schools received Knowledge Channel Portable Media Libraries (KCPML) to support and enrich classroom instruction. Following the turnover, the training proper will commence.

Empowering the next generation of media practitioners 🎥

: Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) Platforms and Partnerships Head Danie Sedilla-Cruz led a talk on educational content creation at the Pinoy Media Congress 2026, where she also highlighted KCFI’s initiatives in producing curriculum-aligned video lessons and promoting media-based learning nationwide.

The ABS-CBN Pinoy Media Congress 2026 is organized by ABS-CBN, the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE), and Assumption College San Lorenzo.
