Ang Leptospirosis ay isang seryosong impeksyon na nakuha mula sa tubig-baha na kontaminado ng ihi ng may sakit na hayop (tulad ng daga). Maaari itong pumasok sa katawan sa pamamagitan ng sugat o maging sa mata, ilong, at bibig.

Kung ikaw ay nasulong sa baha - may sugat man o wala - kumonsulta agad sa doktor sa loob ng 24–48 oras para sa tamang prophylaxis o gamot. 🩺

EXTENDED SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 5th Dr. Arturo B. Rotor Memorial Awards for Literature

The Philippine College of Physicians (P*P), through the P*P Medical Humanities Committee, is pleased to announce the extension of the submission deadline for the 5th Dr. Arturo B. Rotor Memorial Awards for Literature, a national initiative that celebrates and advances the medical humanities through the literary arts.

Participation is exclusive to P*P members (including affiliate societies) and Internal Medicine residents-in-training.
