𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ | Sa patuloy na pagsusulong ng kaligtasan at kahandaan ng ating komunidad, matagumpay na isinagawa ang paglalagay ng hose mapping tarpaulins sa iba't ibang piling sitio at purok sa Barangay Potrero sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Kapitana Sheryl Nolasco.

Isinagawa ang aktibidad sa pakikipagtulungan ng Barangay Potrero Firefighters Squad, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Malabon - BFP NCR Malabon City sa pangunguna ni FSUPT ERRICK S DERRO, City Fire Marshal, at ng Community Relations Unit sa pangunguna ni SFO1 Dave John J Hizon, Acting Chief, CRU, kasama ang pagmomonitor ni Barangay Ex-Officio Roldan Paraggua.

Layunin ng programang ito na maglagay ng mga hose mapping tarpaulins sa mga lugar na may makikitid na eskinita at daanan na hindi naaabot ng mga fire truck. Ang mga tarpaulin na ito ay magsisilbing gabay sa mga bumbero upang mabilis nilang matukoy ang mga itinakdang ruta ng hose at mga pinagkukunan ng tubig sakaling magkaroon ng sunog.

Sa pamamagitan ng proyektong ito, higit nating napapalakas ang kahandaan ng ating barangay sa oras ng sakuna at naipapakita ang sama-samang pagkilos ng lokal na pamahalaan, mga responder, at ng komunidad para sa mas ligtas at mas handang Barangay Potrero.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ | Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 π„π‘π‘πˆπ‚πŠ 𝐒 πƒπ„π‘π‘πŽ, City Fire Marshal, and led by SFO1 Dave John J Hizon, Acting Chief, Community Relations Unit (CRU), the Community Relations Unit, in coordination with the Barangay Potrero Firefighters Squad and under the monitoring of Barangay Ex-Officio Roldan Paraggua, conducted the posting of hose mapping tarpaulins in various identified sitios and puroks within Barangay Potrero.
The activity focused on strategically placing hose mapping tarpaulins in areas with narrow alleys (eskinitas) that are inaccessible to fire trucks during emergency response operations. These markers serve as guides for firefighters in identifying designated hose routes and water access points, enabling a faster and more efficient response during fire incidents.
Through this initiative, BFP Malabon continues to strengthen community preparedness and fire safety awareness while enhancing operational readiness in high-risk and hard-to-reach areas. The collaboration between the Bureau and community stakeholders underscores a shared commitment to protecting lives and properties through proactive fire prevention measures.

During the Troop Information and Education (TI&E), π…πŽπŸ π‘πžπ€π€πš 𝐃 𝐋𝐒𝐦𝐩𝐒𝐧 emphasized that a firefighter's duty extends beyond responding to fires and emergencies. He highlighted the vital role of the Community Relations Unit (CRU) and Public Information Unit (PIU) in promoting fire safety awareness, strengthening community engagement, and ensuring the dissemination of accurate and timely information to the public.

FO1 Limpin reminded personnel that every firefighter serves not only as a responder, but also as a teacher of safety, a protector of truth, and a servant of the people. He encouraged everyone to uphold the values of courage, integrity, and compassion in carrying out their sworn duty.

Nagsagawa ng Coordination Meeting at Hose Mapping ang Barangay Potrero Firefighters Squad (CFAG) katuwang si Barangay Kagawad Hon. Walter Guevarra, BDRRM Focal Person, kasama ang BFP Malabon – Community Relations Unit sa pangunguna nina π’π…πŽπŸ 𝐇𝐒𝐳𝐨𝐧 at π…πŽπŸ 𝐋𝐒𝐦𝐩𝐒𝐧, sa iba’t ibang pamayanan sa Barangay Potrero, Malabon bilang bahagi ng programang Obligasyon Sa Bayan, Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) na naglalayong palakasin ang kahandaan at kaligtasan ng komunidad laban sa sunog at iba pang sakuna.

Kabilang sa mga lugar na isinagawa ang aktibidad ay ang:

Kagawad Hon. Walter Guevarra, and the Barangay Potrero Firefighters Squad (CFAG).

The activity focused on discussing emergency preparedness measures, firefighting coordination, and strategic hose mapping to improve response efficiency during fire incidents within the community.
