SEPTEMBER 8, 2026 | 5th Bimonthly Meeting💚

Another night of meaningful conversations, plans, and shared ideas as we continue building a stronger and more impactful Rotary Club.

Every meeting may start with an agenda, but it always ends with new ideas, renewed commitment, and a little more reason to keep showing up.

Here’s to more plans turned into action, and more moments of Service Above Self.

UNITED IN SERVICE FOR THE PEOPLE OF MALABON

Last August 30 at 9:00 AM, the Rotary Club of Malabon High Impact President and Philippine Red Cross Malabon City Chapter Chairman Cong. Ricky Sandoval, called for a coordination meeting to assess and report on the situation of the people of Malabon affected by the flooding.

Recognizing the urgent need for immediate assistance, Cong. Ricky Sandoval initiated the distribution of hot meals to affected communities. Among the areas severely impacted were Barangays Panghulo and Maysilo, where the distribution began at 5:00 PM.

Responding to the call for service were IPP Samson of Rotary Club of Malabon, IPP Joey and HIP Alvin of Rotary Club of Malabon East, CP Wells, PE Frankie and Service Project Chair Kim of the Rotary Club of Malabon Prestige, together with Councilor Leslie Yambao, Malabon Filipino Chinese Fire Volunteers Inc., Knights of Columbus, Philippine Red Cross Malabon Chapter, and Tau Gamma Phi – Labahita Longos Chapter.

CP Wells, PE Frankie, Service Project Chair Kim and Councilor Leslie Yambao, together with members of the Malabon Filipino Chinese Fire Volunteers Inc., personally joined the operation aboard a fire engine to help distribute hot meals to communities affected by the flood.

In times of crisis, service knows no boundaries. Organizations, leaders, volunteers, and community members came together with one purpose—to make sure that the people of Malabon receive the support they need when they need it most.

Hello, September!

September is Basic Education and Literacy Month!

Education is more than just learning to read, write, and count—it is about giving every child the opportunity to dream, grow, and build a better future.

This month, we celebrate the power of education and literacy to open doors, break barriers, and create lasting opportunities. As Rotarians, we believe that when we invest in education, we invest in people, communities, and generations to come.

Let us continue to support our schools, empower learners, and make quality education more accessible to all. Because every lesson learned, every book opened, and every child empowered can create a lasting impact. 💙

NATIONAL HEROES DAY | August 31, 2026 🇵🇭

Today, as we remember National Heroes Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and love for country demonstrated by those who came before us. Their stories remind us that heroism is not always defined by extraordinary acts, but by the willingness to stand for what is right, protect others, and serve something greater than ourselves.

As Rotarians, we carry this same spirit in our own way—not through grand gestures, but through service, compassion, and meaningful action in our communities. Being a Rotarian means choosing to serve even when no one is watching, helping where help is needed, and creating positive change wherever we can.

We honor our heroes not only by remembering their names, but by continuing the values they stood for. Every community we serve, every life we touch, and every act of kindness we extend becomes part of the legacy we leave behind.

For the Rotary Club of Malabon Prestige, Service Above Self is our prestigious calling—a commitment to serve with purpose, lead with compassion, and create lasting impact. 💙

Because love for country is also shown through service to its people. May the courage of our heroes inspire us to be People of Action and to continue building a better, safer, and more compassionate community for generations to come.

A Throwback to Brigada Eskwela!

Looking back at our Brigada Eskwela activities, we are reminded that building better schools goes beyond classrooms and learning materials—it also means creating safer spaces where students and teachers can learn, grow, and thrive.

Through our continued efforts in supporting our schools and promoting safety and preparedness, we believe that every child deserves an environment where they feel safe, protected, and ready to learn.

From helping build better schools to advancing safer schools, we continue to serve with purpose and create lasting impact.

In times like these, preparedness should always be on our minds.

Knowing our Basic Safety Measures and Basic Life Support (BLS) can make a real difference when an emergency happens. These are simple but essential skills that everyone should know and be ready to apply when needed.

During Mangandam Na Ta: Preparedness in Uncertainty, different organizations, volunteers, and community partners came together to learn, share knowledge, and strengthen our readiness for whatever challenges may come our way.

Because being prepared is not just about knowing what to do—it’s about being ready to act when it matters most.

Project S.A.F.E. — Safeguarding All For Education

Last August 25, the Rotary Club of Malabon Prestige turned over metal scanners to the Philippine Malabon Cultural Institute as part of our continuing commitment to promote safety and security in our schools.

In light of recent incidents involving attempts to harm individuals in educational institutions, we believe that every student and teacher deserves to learn and work in an environment where they feel safe and protected.

Through Project S.A.F.E., we hope to support the school in strengthening its security measures and creating a safer space for learning, teaching, and growth.

Because protecting our schools means protecting our future.

Together, let us Create Lasting Impact, one safe school at a time.
