BEYOND THE 5th YEAR: A LEGACY OF SERVICE CONTINUES!

"Every great story has chapters, and tonight, we closed one beautiful chapter to start another."

The Kiwanis Club of Malabon Gems celebrated a monumental milestone at Balsa sa Niugan during our 5th Installation of New Officers and Induction of New Members. With the theme "Beyond the 5th Year, A Story of Togetherness in Service," we looked back at five years of heart-led volunteerism and looked forward to a future of even greater impact.

We honored the incredible leadership of our Immediate Past President, IPP Quinto Ma Teresa, as she delivered her Valedictory Address. The symbolic turnover of the Gong and Gavel marked a new beginning as we officially installed our new set of officers for A.Y. 2025–2026, led by our newly installed Pres. Helen Carvajal.

Our "Story of Togetherness" grew even larger tonight as we welcomed our new Gems into the fold! We welcome our new members namely: Kwn. Junelyn M. Romero, Kwn. Claro Gerna Lugto, Kwn. Rowena C. Alis, Kwn. Donnalyn Estrada, and Kwn. Monica Grace Y. Pelayo. Their induction and oath signify a renewed commitment to serving the children of Malabon and the world.

We were deeply honored by the presence and messages of our esteemed leaders:

🔹Lt. Gov. Nanz Talisayon for conducting the installation and oath.
🔹District Governor Stachys Neil E. Espino for a keynote message that truly inspired us to go beyond our fifth year.

A Week of Service, Fellowship, and Smiles! 💙💎

The Kiwanis Club of Malabon Gems was proud to stand alongside our brothers and sisters in Division 3B as we celebrated an incredible Kiwanis Week 2026! We embarked on a week-long journey of making a difference through service and fellowship. Our week started with heart and honor on January 18th with a solemn Wreath-Laying Ceremony, with the officials of Philippine Luzon District Division 3B and other Divisions as well. Followed immediately by the impactful "A Thousand Meal, A Thousand Smile" initiative at 8:00 AM to bring joy to the community. The activity gave warm porridge to the children. The energy continued on January 20th at the Div. 3B Fun Bowling Time, where we strengthened our bonds during a one-night friendly tournament. Members and participate hyped each other in a fun and competitive way to score more pins. By January 22nd, we were opening our doors to new members during the Membership Blitz. During the Membership Blitz, new members and other prospect members of KCMG shared their experiences when they joined some of the club's activity. Not only the new members said something but also the seasoned members shared their stories while serving the children. And we finally capped off this unforgettable celebration on January 24th with the Special Plenary & Kiwanis Night, where Div. 3B Lt. Gov. Nanz Talisayon, IPP Kwn. Quinto Ma Teresa and Pres. Kwn. Helen Carvajal along with other members joined the gathering.

KCMG remains committed to serving the children of the world, one smile at a time.

Last December 13, 2025, the energy was very high as the Kiwanis Club of Malabon Gems hosted "Zumba for a Cause!" It wasn't just a workout; it was a beautiful gathering of regular Zumba enthusiasts, our dedicated KCMG members, and the supportive friends and family who make our club so special.

Our amazing instructors led the way with high-energy routines, making sure every move "heated up" the place and kept everyone’s spirits high! From the first beat to the final stretch, the sweat and smiles were proof of a morning well spent.

To cap off the excitement, KCMG presented special awards to our participants! Our President, Helen Carvajal, shared a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave out time from their busy schedules to dance with us.

The best part? Every cent raised from this event goes directly toward funding future KCMG projects. This means more resources to support and empower children both within and beyond Malabon.

Happy 5th Anniversary to our partners in service! 💎✨

Last November 30, 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Malabon Gems' (KCMG) K-Cares was honored to celebrate a major milestone with Angelic Heart Philippines - Malabon Chapter as they marked their 5th Year Anniversary! 🥂🎂

The celebration, held at Tinajeros National High School, was a beautiful testament to five years of compassion and community impact. To honor the occasion, we focused on bringing joy and creativity to 26 amazing beneficiaries, including our brave SNED (Special Needs Education) students and PWDs.

🌟 A Day of Hearts & Gems:

Storytelling: We spent the morning diving into stories, sharing laughs and lessons with the children. 📖

Creativity: Every child received coloring materials to help them express their bright and colorful imaginations! 🎨

Snack Time: KCMG shared biscuits to keep the smiles going throughout the program. 🍪

Collaborating with Angelic Heart Philippines - Malabon Chapter has always been about making a difference, one child at a time. Seeing the joy on the faces of our 26 beneficiaries was the best anniversary gift we could ever ask for.
