YAKAP Program Rollout at the Department of Agriculture!

We are thrilled to share that last week, September 18, 2026, FPOP Iloilo successfully augmented the PhilHealth YAKAP Program at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Site in Parola, Iloilo City!

It was a truly productive and fulfilling day as we brought all YAKAP services directly to the hardworking staff of the DA. This initiative marks a major milestone for FPOP Iloilo as we expand our healthcare services straight into workplaces and government agencies.

Building strong partnerships between private institutions and government agencies is key to creating a healthier, more resilient community. Together, we are making healthcare more accessible to those who serve the public every single day!

We were thrilled to welcome another brilliant batch of Central Philippine University (CPU) College of Nursing students for their official orientation!

The session was led by our very own Chapter Program Manager, Ma’am Mona Liza S. Diones, RMT, who inspired the students as they prepare for this exciting new chapter of their healthcare journey.

Following the orientation, the students took part in an immersive facility tour to get familiar with the different departments where they will soon be deployed and making a positive impact.

We are excited to work with you all and support your growth in the medical field! Welcome aboard!

Sa ilalim ng PhilHealth YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program), maaaring ma-avail ang 13 piling laboratory tests batay sa iyong edad, health assessment, at risk factors. Layunin nitong mapalawak ang maagang pagtuklas at pag-iwas sa mga sakit upang mapanatiling malusog ang bawat Pilipino.

✅ Magpakonsulta at alamin kung anong laboratory tests ang maaari mong ma-access sa pinakamalapit na PhilHealth-accredited facility.

Central Philippine University Nursing Students Begin Community Service Orientation!

We are thrilled to welcome the newest batch of nursing students from Central Philippine University (CPU) as they embark on their community service journey as part of their curriculum!

To kick things off right, our Chapter Program Manager, Maam Mona Liza S. Diones, RMT, spearheaded a comprehensive orientation session to set the tone for meaningful community engagement and learning. Following the orientation, she also personally led a guided facility tour to help the students get familiarized with our workspace, services, and operations.

We were honored to welcome distinguished visitors from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP), and the Department of Health Regional Office VI (DOH VI) to the FPOP Iloilo Chapter last week!

The delegation toured our facilities, connected with our dedicated staff, and evaluated the milestones and outputs of the AIHA project. We had a productive discussion and Q&A session highlighting our shared achievements in community health, advocacy, and expanding access to vital services in the region.

Thankful for these invaluable partnerships as we continue working together for healthier communities!

MOLO DISTRICT PUROKALUSUGAN CARAVAN: ADOLESCENT SUMMIT 2026 ✨

The FPOP Iloilo RESPOND Project, in partnership with the City Health Office – Molo District, together with Kabataang FPOP Iloilo (KFI) and Girls Act Philippines – Iloilo Chapter, participated in the Molo District Purokalusugan Caravan: Adolescent Summit held on September 14, 2026, at North Grove, Molo, Iloilo City. The activity brought together community members, adolescents, health workers, and partner organizations for a meaningful day of health services, wellness activities, and empowering conversations.

The summit provided accessible information and discussions on nutrition, family planning, maternal health, immunization, responsible parenting, adolescent health, hygiene, and overall well-being. As part of the initiative, the team distributed hygiene kits and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, providing young people with practical resources and relevant health information while creating a safe and engaging space where adolescents could learn, ask questions, and connect with available services and support.

We extend our appreciation to the City Health Office – Molo District, our partner organizations, health workers, community members, and especially the young people and adults who participated and contributed to the success of the activity.
