14 years of authoritarian rule. 8 years of unjust detainment, cruel torture, ruthless massacres, and decimation of innocent Filipinos desperately opposing hostile governance. These are victims of a government that actively exploits its people and kills them for protesting against this abuse. Sadly, not much has changed since we have moved past those 14 years.

September 21, 1972 was the day President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. declared Martial Law. Never forget the painful day our government turned its back on us. Because as history proves that tragedy can repeat itself again.

On this 11th of June, we celebrate the birthday of our treasurer (who kills us if we don’t pay fees on time), 𝙆𝙖𝙮! JAx may not have much funds, but you always find ways to make our activities and events work. You always find a way to keep us motivated even though the journey becomes rough.

May the year treat you well Kay, stay fresh and slaying as you get that bag!
