𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: "𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 – 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐.𝟎 & 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬"

Last March 21, 2026, the USC-IMA Student Chapter turned Metropark Hotel, Studio B Room into a space for growth, hosting two powerful sessions under its Beyond Series.

Despite a sudden modality change by the university due to the fuel crisis, the team adapted swiftly. The speakers—who were originally set to speak on-site—met with USC-IMA officers in person for a networking lunch and prepared together for their Zoom sessions, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.

The first session, 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝟐.𝟎: 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏, was held in the morning via Zoom. Led by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐉𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐂𝐌𝐀 (𝐔.𝐒.) and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐂𝐏𝐀, the session reminded students that success isn't just about titles—it's about embracing uncertainty, choosing growth, seizing the unplanned, and turning credentials into real-world impact.

The second session, 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒔: 𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒓, was held in the afternoon via Zoom. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐚 on HR-friendly CVs, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐂𝐏𝐀 on mastering professional communication, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐑𝐆𝐂 on turning self-awareness into strategy. A workshop built not just for skills, but for clarity and confidence.

No perfect roadmaps. Just real conversations, real tools, and a community ready to begin.

At the University of San Carlos - Institute of Management Accountants Student Chapter, accountability remains at the heart of everything we do. 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: The USC Institute of Management Accountants – Student Chapter celebrated the "𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙐𝙎𝘾-𝙄𝙈𝘼 𝙎𝘾 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥" on 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the M𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙃𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪.

USC-IMA Student Chapter presented "𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙐𝙎𝘾-𝙄𝙈𝘼 𝙎𝘾 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥", an event held to recognize the efforts of its committee members. During the event, USC-IMA SC proudly recognizes the recipients of the Most Outstanding Committee Member Awards, honoring individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, initiative, and excellence in serving their respective committees throughout the academic year.

𝑨 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈

Some moments are bigger than trophies, and for USC-IMA SC, this is one of them.

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, USC IMA attended the 𝟒𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐒𝐂 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 at the Albert van Gansewinkel Hall, USC Downtown Campus, as one of the nominees for The Outstanding Campus Student Organization Award (TOCSO). Out of 64 registered student organizations, being recognized among the 16 𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨 stands as a meaningful achievement for our growing organization.

Representing USC-IMA SC during the ceremony were President Peter Mathew Adonis, Vice President Alex Shareff Templado, Director of Projects Riesha Nyle Oyangorin, and Director of Growth and Technology Fia Yongco.

Though the title was not ours to bring home, this experience reminded us that success is not always defined by awards received, but by the journey taken to get there. In only three years of existence, our chapter has continued to grow into a community driven by passion, service, and the shared vision of uplifting Management Accounting students.

This nomination is a symbol of how far the organization has come and how much potential still lies ahead. Every project initiated, every challenge overcome, and every student empowered became part of the story that brought our chapter to this moment.

This chapter may mark our first TOCSO nomination, but it certainly will not be the last.

In our third consecutive year as an IMA student chapter, USC-IMA SC once again earned the prestigious 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 — a recognition given to student chapters that continuously uphold IMA’s mission and vision through impactful initiatives, leadership, and service.

This achievement is more than just another award added to our journey. It is a reflection of every challenge conquered, every initiative brought to life, and every individual who chose to lead with purpose and serve with passion. Through our banner of 𝘿𝙀𝙑𝙊𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉. 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉. 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝘼𝙉𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉., we continue to prove that excellence is not a one-time achievement — it is a commitment we uphold together.

Last Thursday, the 𝑼𝑺𝑪-𝑰𝑴𝑨 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 proudly stepped into this legacy, becoming the 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 student chapter in the 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚-𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 to receive the 𝓒𝓵𝓪𝓻𝓴 𝓙𝓸𝓱𝓷𝓼𝓸𝓷 𝓐𝓬𝓱𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓐𝔀𝓪𝓻𝓭 — one of the most prestigious recognitions presented by the 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 (𝑰𝑴𝑨) to a student chapter.
