𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗥. 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗜: 𝗔 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Every Women’s Month, we celebrate women whose courage, brilliance, and compassion reshaped society. Among these remarkable figures stands Dr. Maria Montessori—a woman who not only broke barriers in her own time but also transformed the way the world understands children, learning, and human potential.

Dr. Montessori was the first female physician in Italy, a groundbreaking achievement in an era when women were discouraged from pursuing higher education. Yet her greatest legacy emerged not in hospitals, but in classrooms. With deep respect for the dignity of every child, she developed an educational approach rooted in independence, curiosity, and joyful discovery.

Her philosophy was revolutionary:

• that children learn best when they are trusted,

• that education should nurture the whole person—mind, heart, and spirit,

• and that every child carries within them the promise of a better future.

Today, Montessori schools around the world—including Sacred Heart of Jesus Montessori School—continue to embody her belief that education is a pathway to peace. She taught us that when children are guided with patience, freedom, and love, they grow into adults who are confident, compassionate, and capable of shaping a more humane world.

As we celebrate Women’s Month, Dr. Maria Montessori reminds us of the power of a woman who dares to dream differently. Her life is a testament to resilience, intellect, and unwavering faith in the goodness of humanity.

May her legacy inspire us—teachers, students, families, and communities—to continue nurturing environments where every child can flourish. And may we honor all women who, like Dr. Montessori, use their gifts to uplift others and create lasting change.

✨🏫A Project-Based Learning Day fills the school with a different kind of energy — students moving with purpose, collaborating with friends, asking questions that matter, and turning ideas into something they can proudly hold, show, or explain. It’s a day where curiosity leads the way and learning feels alive: messy hands, active minds, and joyful discoveries woven together in every corner of the classroom. In each project, you can see confidence growing, teamwork strengthening, and creativity taking shape — a reminder that when students build, explore, and create, they don’t just learn the lesson; they live it. 📚

Today is Ash Wednesday, a day of reflection and spiritual renewal. May this beginning of Lent inspire us to seek a path of faith and transformation.

It is a reminder of God’s mercy and our call to repentance.

Following the latest declaration from Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy ordering the suspension of all classes on February 5-6, 2026, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Montessori School will likewise suspend all on-site classes for tomorrow and Friday, from Primary to Secondary levels.

The safety and well-being of our students, teachers, and school community remain our top priority. However, as education must continue, online classes will proceed. The Administration will be closely monitoring all online class activities to ensure smooth and effective learning throughout the day.

Please note that school operations for teachers and staff will continue on-site as usual.

We encourage everyone to stay updated, remain indoors when necessary, and continue taking all precautionary measures.

Further announcements will be released through our official communication channels as needed.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and vigilance.
