In observance of National Dengue Awareness Month, the Community Red Cross Youth GUSA proudly participated in the ๐——๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฒ ๐—”๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—–๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป-๐—จ๐—ฝ ๐——๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿณ, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ at the Philippine Red Cross Misamis Orientalโ€“Cagayan de Oro Chapter.

Through this initiative, our volunteers joined hands in promoting a cleaner and healthier environment by helping eliminate potential mosquito breeding sites and raising awareness about dengue prevention. Every small act of service contributes to protecting our communities from dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.

Together, let us continue to keep our surroundings clean, stay informed, and take action to prevent dengue. Prevention starts with each one of us.

On May 14, 2026, during the Youth Night celebration in Barangay Gusa, we proudly served our community at our first station as officially trained First Aiders. Through free blood pressure monitoring for passersby and event participants, we had the opportunity to put our skills into practice and promote health awareness among the community.

This meaningful experience was made possible with the support and assistance of USTP - Red Cross Youth . Together, we demonstrated that service begins with simple acts of care and a commitment to helping others.

As newly trained First Aiders, this marks the start of our journey in serving the communityโ€”one response, one assessment, and one life at a time.
