Take a look back at the journey of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines Geodetic Engineering students as they participated in NatGES 2026 held at UP Diliman on April 10 to 11, 2026. The experience captured moments of learning, collaboration, and active engagement in discussions with peers and professionals in the field.

Throughout the event, students took part in various academic exchanges, collaborative activities, and competitions that highlighted their skills, teamwork, and dedication to the discipline. These experiences provided opportunities to connect with the wider geodetic engineering community while gaining valuable insights and exposure.

The delegation also achieved notable recognition across different competitions. The GE Ka Na Ba? National GE Quiz Show Competition team composed of Karyl Arancon, Zyra Juliada, and Kent Vincent Degumbis earned 2nd Runner-Up under Faculty Coach Engr. Kharen Mae Arconada. In the Mapmaking and Poster Presentation Competition, Karyl Arancon, Michael Auguste Mosqueda, and Joanna Mariz Tejamo also secured 2nd Runner-Up. In Surveylympics: Total Station Setup, TG Lee Ranara achieved 2nd Runner-Up, also guided by Engr. Kharen Mae Arconada.

Further demonstrating academic excellence, the Research Colloquium team composed of Karyl Arancon, Prexy Dechos, and Alexis Karl Delos Reyes placed Top 8, while other representatives participated in the Consortium Pitching Competition and Student Leaders Congress.

These experiences and achievements reflect the commitment, competence, and collaborative spirit of USTP Geodetic Engineering students as they continue to grow and excel in the field.
