🫶🏿An amazing day at Gordons Market in Port Moresby!

It was so incredible to meet so many people and conduct vital hearing and eye screening. We had queues of people all day, seeing almost a thousand people, with hundreds of screenings done. 👁️👂🏿

👧🏾👶🏾👦🏾Hearing Care for All Children.

This World Hearing Day, CSNU supports the World Health Organization (WHO) global campaign message of Hearing Care for All Children.

In addition to supporting good ear health for children, booking them in for a hearing test is important. If you know a deaf or hard-of-hearing child, please include them in everything and learn some PNG Sign Language.

In the lead up to World Hearing Day tomorrow, CSNU's expert team have compiled some helpful Do's & Don'ts for good ear health.

We know accessing health workers can be a challenge for many in PNG but even if you can't see someone to help with your ear health, there are still some great tips everyone can follow!

CSNU focus on care, accessibility and advocacy for the most vulnerable in PNG. Thanks to our funding partners, we do outreach to remote communities to provide essential ear screening, hearing aids and support.

🌏CSNU are seeking qualified professionals to join our organisation on a 12 month program through the Australian Volunteers Program.

Each role will build local capacity by training and mentoring local staff in clinical practice, service delivery and outreach coordination.
Both roles will be based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Only Australian citizens, holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or NZ citizens residing in Australia with a SCV are eligible to apply.
