PNG Ports has declared a K22.5 million interim dividend to shareholder Kumul Consolidated Holdings PNG, drawn from an estimated NOPAT of K90 million.

In 2025, our 15 ports facilitated trade and cargo movement worth approximately K28.9 billion, handling 10.8 million tonnes of cargo across 4,838 vessel calls.

"This marks the second consecutive year that PNG Ports has declared the same interim dividend amount, underscoring our steady, reliable, and disciplined financial performance," said CEO Neil Papenfus.

Minister for State Enterprises Hon. William Duma said the dividend reflects sound financial management and the dedication of PNG Ports' Board, management, and employees.

Our commitment remains on enabling business, modernising infrastructure, and creating long-term value for Papua New Guinea.

PNG Ports Corporation Limited is advancing its 30-Year Infrastructure Master Plan, a nationwide upgrade program designed to modernise port infrastructure, strengthen connectivity and support long-term economic growth across Papua New Guinea.

Key projects include the rehabilitation of Kimbe Port, the development of a pioneering green port model at Rabaul Port, and the expansion of the Lae Industrial Park , a 350-hectare logistics and industrial hub. PNG Ports CEO Neil Papenfus said the program is about securing the economic future of the provinces served by the national port network.

Happy International Women in Engineering Day 2026!

Meet Eunice Dalton, our newly appointed Manager Projects at Lae Industrial Park. A proud Papua New Guinean and civil engineer, Eunice has risen through the ranks after serving as Team Leader Projects in the Infrastructure Division of PNG Ports.

Eunice embodies the creativity, insight, and problem-solving spirit that women bring to engineering every day, breaking barriers and inspiring the next generation of engineers across Papua New Guinea and beyond.

At PNG Ports, we're proud of our vibrant Infrastructure Division team, which comprises 17 civil engineers, five of whom are women, including two in managerial roles. Their contributions are vital to our mission of connecting Papua New Guinea to the world.

Today, we celebrate Eunice and all women engineers who continue to redefine the future of engineering.

Today, as we recognise International Women in Engineering Day, we celebrate the Papua New Guinean women shaping infrastructure across the country and beyond.

Graduate engineer Leilla Lialu is building hands-on experience with Pacific Marine Group on the Kimbe Port Refurbishment Project under the AIFFP PNG Ports Infrastructure Investment Program.

Leilla is building her technical and management skills by overseeing dredging, pile driving and lab testing, alongside supporting project managers with daily reporting and contract administration.

Originally considering a career in mining engineering, Leilla was encouraged by her family to study civil engineering given the range of career pathways it presents and its versility.

In line with the Pacific Quality Infrastructure Principles, Australia embeds local content and inclusivity across its AIFFP investments - creating opportunities for Papua New Guinean women and their businesses to participate in infrastructure projects and supporting local jobs, skills development and inclusive economic growth.

Leillaโ€™s experience reflects Australia and PNGโ€™s shared commitment to inclusive, transformative and locally driven infrastructure.
