Spoiler Alert: Commonwealth Games:
Huge Congratulations to our PNP rider, George Jackson, who is now coming home with two medals at the Commonwealth Games.
There was no shortage of drama and bad luck for the team at the Games; with a collison during TTT warmup, taking out strongman Nick Kergozou, then on the way home after the TTT, George Jackson rode into a pothole, crashing and injuring himself.
Despite all this drama, the Team managed a Bronze Medal in the TTT and George rode an incredibly fast and exciting Points Race to take the last sprint and secure another Bronze medal.
George said both his bunch races "weren't the best due to being quite sore", but despite this he still managed to pull out another Bronze from all the adversity!
Congratulations George - you're a true Champion

Stunning results by our PNP Juniors who represented their schools last weekend at the North Island Schools Road Cycling Champs in Cambridge. The first event was a road race on Norwegian Rd, part of the National Elite circuit. On the 2nd day there was a Criterium race around the Karapiro Domain (an excellent, demanding circuit).
Wellington riders were on five podiums! An incredible result considering there is not much local road racing.
