Our first lot of Family 2 Family bags has been donated to the Tokoroa Community Foodbank to be distributed to families in our community.

Thank you to those her have donated bags, we are three days in and we have had so many donations so far 🥰

There are empty bags at our store entrance which you are more than welcome to fill yourself or we have pre filled bags available at checkout for $20ea

The Tokoroa Community Foodbank are seeing more whānau than ever before through our doors each day. Please be patient with our team of volunteers as we continue to navigate this increase and support our beautiful community.

The report found 68% of food-insecure households only started struggling in the past year.

🌟 A Friendly Reminder from Your Tokoroa Community Foodbank 🌟

Our team here at the foodbank is made up entirely of volunteers who give their time and energy to support our community. 💛

Lately, we’ve had a few situations where our volunteers have not been treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. We understand that times can be stressful, and needs can be urgent, but kindness and patience go a long way.

We ask that everyone who comes through our doors treats our volunteers with respect, courtesy, and understanding. They are here to help, and your cooperation ensures that we can continue supporting our community effectively.

Let’s remember: a little kindness can make a big difference. 💛

Another big week of footy/netball and another opportunity to support a local charity. ♥️🏄‍♂️

This weekend we will be supporting the Tokoroa Community Foodbank in our final charity activation for the season.

We’re putting the call out to our SURF whānau or even if you’re down this weekend to drop off any non-perishable food items this Saturday to donate to the Foodbank.

The drop off point will be the kitchen inside the main entrance to the clubrooms.

We’re truly grateful for the support and generosity of our community to support our charity activations this season. We have no doubt that every contribution has been of great significance to the brilliant groups we’ve been fortunate to assist.
