🥊 Timaru Boxing Corporate Fundraiser 🥊

We are currently organising a fundraiser and are encouraging local businesses to get a group of your staff together for a one-off group training/team bonding session at our boxing gym.
This would be run by our head coach Hannah and possibly 1 or 2 of our competing boxers to give you and your staff a taste of boxing training!
We would be able to cater for all fitness levels and abilities.

This would be a great opportunity for your business to support a local, not for profit organisation. The funds raised are to go towards our annual boxing tournament this August and also towards food & accommodation costs for our travelling boxers.

We are able to do up to 20ppl per session and would want a minimum of 10, so if you are a smaller business, you could potentially combine with another if need be.

Congratulations to William Crooks who was awarded the trophy for Most Scientific Junior/Cadet of the tournament. 🏆

We would like to acknowledge his hard work in and out of the boxing gym which has helped him achieve this South Island Golden Gloves open title.

This year William entered the workforce and started a full time building apprenticeship, which is a massive life change at only 15 years old.
The fact that he managed to do this while still being committed to his training is not an easy feat.

Congratulations on your title again William, huge respect to you, you deserve this! 🔥

South Island Golden Gloves 2026 🥊

Cameron Clarke 75kg Junior Novice - showing so much improvement & control, he won his semi final by stoppage in the 3rd round and went on to win his final on Sunday also by unanimous decision to be the 75kg Junior Novice Champion. 🥇

Lewis Taylor had his debut as an elite boxer in the 70kg Elite Novice category. No head gear and all heart, he is continuously showing improvement every time he steps in the ring. Didn’t get the win but he had a good performance!

George Cann 63kg Junior Novice - won his straight final by unanimous decision showing good ring control, great movement and using great combinations to land strong punches to be the 63kg Junior Novice Champion.🥇

William Crooks 66kg Junior Open - first fight this year for Will, he stayed composed, used great angles, controlled the ring and landed some great combinations against a strong, gritty opponent.
Winning by unanimous decision to be the 66kg Junior South Island Golden Gloves Champion.
This is a huge achievement winning a South Island Golden Gloves Title and we are so so proud of him! 🥇
