A reminder to all as we come into spring, if your playing on our courts please check your shoes - they must have non marking soles - most sports shoes should be fine but absolutely no gumboots, sandals or hard dark soled shoes on the courts! 🙏🙏

If members see new players at the club please help by checking they know this rule and showing them how to check their shoes!

Bit of action on the courts as the last of the noise reduction goes up.
Big thanks to Murray for taking charge of this project and his many minions, many hands makes lite work.

Scaffolding ins going up on the courts this afternoon for the noise reduction which is getting installed over the next couple of days.
The club will be restricted access from today 12pm until Thursdays, that’s no squash. sorry for the inconvenience but I hope your next game will be a quieter more pleasant experience.

🌍 🏆 the draws are set for the World Squash Federation masters tournament and two of our local members, Shane Hatwell and Stephanie Chambers are heading off to represent the club on the international stage!!! 🌏🏆

This year’s World Masters Squash Championship is in Perth and runs from the 30th August - 6th September.

Steph is seeded 9/16 in the 35-39yr age bracket and plays her first game on the 1st sept against a player from South Africa 🇿🇦 on a glass court in the Karrinyup shopping centre 🙌🙌

Shane is seeded 17/32 in the 55-59yr age group and plays his first game on the 31st Aug at the 14 court Mirrabooka Squashworld - opponent yet to be confirmed 🤩🤩

900+ entries separated over 5 ages groups from 35 - 85 yrs old - it’s going to be massive!!
Let’s go Fiordland, Let’s go 🥳🥳

🇳🇿Fiordland Junior Squash Update 🇳🇿

🤩Term three has been a busy one, we hosted Andrea from squash club for a junior workshop, kicked things up a notch with the second edition of Squash Stars and tonight we start our a first round of Junior Club Champs with 17 juniors competing 🤩
