Fiordland Community have your say and Vote today ✅✅

🚨 Survey closes 30th September

🚲Yes to future trail growth and maintenance for Fiordland
🙌🏼 Thank you for your support

The Fiordland Community Board is considering contributing a one-off grant to complete leg five of the Lake2Lake Trail linking Te Anau and Manapouri. We would also like feedback on whether funding should be included in the Long-Term Plan to support the future development of the Fiordland Trails network.

What do you think about these proposals?

There is a short survey running from 14 September - 30 September on Make it Stick where you can have your say.
Head to the survey and view more information here: https://www.southlanddc.govt.nz/make-it-stick/have-your-say/lake2lake-trail/

This weekend is the Trails Trust, Hydro Half & 10km. It's one of our major fundraisers for the year and we love how many people it brings to Te Anau.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to the sponsors, businesses and supporters that back this event and the Fiordland Trails Trust. This weekend so many of our local businesses are supporting either via event sponsorship or by pledging to donate a percentage of spend from event participants to the Trust.

We have some big projects ahead, including completing the Lake2Lake Trail and extending the trail north, and we can't do it without support like this - so a HUGE thank you to everyone backing the event this weekend, we really are very thankful.

And, of course, good luck to all of those who will be out enjoying the trails in this event, we hope you have a brilliant day!
