🙏 CAN YOU HELP CORNERSTONE FIND A LITTLE SPACE?

As our community initiatives continue to grow, we're looking for a small space in central to help us keep doing what we do!

What we're hoping to find:

🌿 A secure, dry area to store a small amount of non-perishable food, clothing and other donated essentials between our Community Days.

🌿 Ideally, somewhere we could hold our Saturday Community Days out the front, making food, clothing and connection accessible to those who need it.

🌿 Bonus points if there's room to occasionally hold small fellowships, workshops or community learning sessions too!

We're a small but mighty team of dedicated volunteers who take great pride in what we do. Any space shared with us would be treated with the utmost care and respect, with security and looking after the premises a priority.

As a charitable trust reliant on donations and funding, we're hoping to find a generous business, organisation or individual willing to share some unused space. A business that doesn't operate on Saturdays could be the perfect fit!

We don't need anything fancy, and we're more than happy to work around an existing business or organisation.

Sometimes a little unused space can make a big difference in the lives of others.

We’ve been blessed with a large donation of children’s clothing and would love to get it back out into our community where it’s needed.

We’ve sorted everything into two lots - boys’ and girls’ clothing & removed anything that was no longer wearable. All remaining clothes are in decent, wearable condition with plenty of life left in them.

We currently have:

• Boys’ clothing — sizes 5–14
• Girls’ clothing — sizes 5–10

These are available in bulk lots, so we’d love them to go to families who are in need and/or know other families they can share the clothing with.

Collection only from Springfield, Rotorua.

A huge thank you to Coromandel Seafood Company for their incredibly kind donation of fresh mussels!

Thanks to their generosity, Cornerstone was able to provide mussels to 5 local families, and we partnered with Feed our community- Rotorua who turned some of the donation into delicious baked mussels served with fresh bread for local kaumātua.

We love seeing good food shared across our community and organisations working together to make sure it reaches the people who can enjoy it most.

Thank you for helping us feed and connect our community. Your generosity is truly appreciated ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Reduced to Clear Rotorua!

Boxes upon boxes of delicious Culley’s mayo have been generously donated to Cornerstone — Classic, Peri Peri and smoky Paprika varieties.

These will go a long way! We’ll be putting them to good use at our community BBQs, as well as including them alongside food and other essentials delivered directly to local homes.

Donations like this allow us to stretch what we have further, add a little extra to our food parcels, and keep showing up for our community.

A massive thank you to Reduced to Clear for choosing to pass this stock on where it can be genuinely enjoyed and put to good use.

Each delivery will depend on what has been donated and available that week, but you might find:

💚 Plus whatever else we have to share!

🌿 A change for this Saturday! And a new way forward 🌿

To everyone who usually joins us at 10am for our Saturday Community Day — we will now come to you! ❤️

From 3pm, our Cornerstone team will be out and about with hot slow-cooked soups, fresh bread and some treats, bringing a little afternoon warmth directly to our community.

No set morning gatherings — instead, keep an eye out for the Cornerstone crew as we make our way around town, checking in with familiar faces and meeting some new ones along the way.
