One of us, Prisca Gonzo-Sairai, has roped in her family in Christchurch, New Zealand, to revive our sausage sizzle fundraising programme. Charles Chindove in the same city, and others members across New Zealand, are actively supporting this revival. Sausage sizzle fundraising was very popular in the years 2014 to 2021.

We are back in action.

Mother Teresa once said we can not all do great things but we can all do small things with great love. Thanks to all the Points of Light who supported the project of building Mawandu Early Childhood Development Centre in my home village Tandi Rusape. As a result of the great initiative and collaboration between Tariro Project and the Zimbabwe Rural Schools Library Trust, Mawandu ECD is now rated one of the top ECD in Makoni West in producing top grade one students.

The Zimbabwean Rural Library Trust Trust has a shortfall of 3k to ship another container of books to Zimbabwe.

You can give through the Trust’s Bank Account 38-9024-0826641-01 or through the Trust’s Give-A-Little link below. The Zimbabwe Rural Schools Library is an Overseas Donee, and any donation of $5 or more gets you a tax rebate. Help now and bring a smile on the face of a Zimbabwean Rural child and impact lives.

Thank you ZRSLT for providing reading resources for Mawandu ECD. Mawandu ECD is located in Manicaland, Rusape ,Tandi. The reading resources has made a remarkable difference to the academic perfomance of the children . It is known that the centre is producing top grade one students. for several years now under the teaching of Mrs Chaturuka.
