What a weekend at Lake Pupuke at the Young Mariners National Regatta 2026! 🌊

We are so proud of our team’s effort and spirit across the events! Even better, we came away overall winners in swimming, Iron Woman, and rigging, earned Top Senior Unit, and placed 3rd Overall Top Unit 🙌

A huge achievement by everyone involved and a huge thank you to our parents and helpers for making the weekend a success! ⛵️

Today the girls ventured across Lake Tarawera, half the group Sailing and half the group walking and swapped over following lunch. There wasn't too much wind for the sailors, but they still managed to make it across! ⛵️🥾

Rotorua Young Mariners is welcoming new girls aged 9–18 to join our crew for an unforgettable year of water adventures and leadership experiences!

Learn to sail, kayak, row & navigate the water safely
Build confidence through team challenges and hands‑on skills
Enjoy camps, regattas, and adventure days
Make lifelong friends in a supportive, empowering environment
Grow leadership skills in a fun, encouraging space

We meet weekly in Rotorua, on a Thursday night during the school term, with special events throughout the year.

What a fantastic weekend we all had at Waitawheta Hut, with attendees from Franklin, Whangarei, Awataha, Rotorua and Tauranga (Taubridge right Tessa?). So incredibly proud of ALL the girls (and parents) Thanks for making it such an enjoyable experience 😁

Last night we invested Aubrey, welcome aboard!
