Friendly reminder of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Christchurch Western Riding Association will be held this Sunday:

📍 CWRA Clubrooms, Mandeville Sports Grounds
☕ Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided

🗳️ Voting Eligibility: Please note: if you were not a paid-up member by 1st August 2025, you are not eligible to vote (as per Rule 9 of the constitution).

Committee Opportunities
We warmly encourage members to get involved! We will have several portfolio vacancies available this coming season. If you’re passionate about Western Riding and want to contribute to the continued growth of the sport in the South Island, we’d love to hear from you. All Committee roles require you to be a current paid-up member.

🏆 Awards & Nominations:
At the AGM we will be awarding our End of Year Awards as well as our special annual club awards. We currently have nominations open for the following awards:
• Sambrook Trophy (Services to Western Riding)
• Most Improved Rider
• Services to CWRA Club
•Hira Ratahi Memorial Trophy (Sportsmanship award)

All end-of-year trophy recipients from last season are asked to please swiftly return trophies prior to the AGM. Please liaise with the committee to arrange this.

CWRA is excited to welcome Kelly Keenan – Keenan Performance Horses back to Canterbury for her Winter Training Clinic Series at our club arena!

Whether you're just getting started or you’re a seasoned competitor, these clinics are designed to elevate your horsemanship, sharpen your communication and build a better performing horse.

Kelly brings a proven, no-nonsense approach to training – focusing on fundamentals that translate directly into results in and out of the show pen.

📅 Clinic Dates:
• 1–2 August
• 5–6 September
