Time Bank Waimakariri

09/10/2026

A huge part of TimeBank Waimakariri is collaboration and connection with others.

Our Spring Plant and Crop Swap is a great example of these things. Not only are our members and people from the wider community coming together to share plants and seeds etc, but it is also the support from Eco Educate - our kind host for these events - and a wonderful advocate for TimeBank Waimakariri.

Also shout out to Nyah, Ella and Riley - three students from University of Canterbury who have put together this fantastic video to help us show you how wonderful these events are. Huge thanks also to Lesley Ottey from Eco Educate, and TBW member Minette Tonoli from MeadowSweet Herbs & Flowers for sharing your thoughts on camera! Thank you team for your time and effort creating this for us to share!

WHERE: RANGIORA RSA
WHEN: Room is open from 5:05pm, talk will begin at 5:20. Please be seated by this time.

Rediscover old favourites, meet a few unusual varieties, and leave inspired to grow and use more herbs this coming season!

Expect plenty of herbs to smell, touch and taste, lots of stories, practical tips, and no doubt a few enthusiastic tangents along the way. Bring your questions, your stories, and your curiosity... and let's get excited about the coming growing season together!
