👫With 6 Rongoā Māori practitioners under the guidance of Whaea Maudy Tupe, creating Rongoā ki te Ao.

🏔 Prepare for the winter for you and your whānau with a Rongoā Māori winter wellness pack including holistic learning on kumarahou lolly pops, a berry wairakau and a horopito chest rub.

After ten years and a couple of weeks of frantic planning we are stoked to share that WE ARE STARTING TO BUILD! 💜💜💜

Whānau, community nau mai haere mai, why not join us for Whare Whakamoemiti & a Site Blessing at 11am this coming Monday ahead of the restoration beginning on Tuesday.

Yes, we are still fundraising but continue to be inspired by the amazing support we have already received from around the motu and the world, āna, we can get there xx

📢Nau mai, haere mai!

👫Wānanga whaikōrero and karanga (reo pōwhiri)
When: 30–31 May
Where: Raetihi Marae, 48 Ohakune–Raetihi Road, Raetihi

Open to all, from beginners through to advanced—everyone is welcome.
🏁This kaupapa will begin with a pōwhiri at 10:00am on 30 May and conclude at 1:00pm on 31 May.

The wānanga will offer a blend of theory and practical learning, supporting participants to develop their skills in the art of whaikōrero and karanga.

🍀Whaikōrero will be led by Rauroha (Shiro) Brown
(Ngāi Tuhiariki, Ngāti Tui-o-Nuku).

🍂Karanga will be led by Merekanara Ponga (Ngā Paerangi).

This kaupapa made possible through Raetihi Marae & Waihuia thanks to the Te Puawānanga o Paerangi Innovation Fund from Nga Waihua o Paerangi Trust.
