Have you ever had to make excuses for something your heart wasn’t ready to let go of?

Maybe it was a relationship, a habit or a choice you knew wasn’t good for you, but kept choosing anyway

So ask yourself today: Are your decisions being led by what you TRULY know is right, or, are you finding reasons to justify what you’ve already chosen?

Introducing Steps — a new 12-week course coming to Te Nikau, based on Steps by John Ortberg.

The course will be run by our very own Rianne Pringle, alongside Chana Ulm, who has previously volunteered with us.

While the 12 Steps have their roots in recovery, this course isn't just for people with addiction issues. Let's be honest... we all have stuff to work on! Whether it's life problems we struggle with, habits we find hard to break or areas where we could do with a bit of growth, this course is a chance to explore some of those areas.

In this course, the 12 Steps are explored from a Christian perspective, with a focus on growing in faith and allowing God to work in our lives.
