Nearly eight out of ten New Zealanders support the ambitious goal of completely eradicating introduced predators.

Aren't these a great idea! Have seen a couple around Taradale!
Great for keeping our native birds safe, but also great for keeping cats safe from road traffic!

Behind every birdsong is someone doing the hard work.
Every rat and mouse trapped means more eggs hatch, more chicks survive, and more native birds have a fighting chance.
Predator trapping isn’t about cruelty — it’s about protection. Protecting the species that belong here, the dawn chorus we love, and the wildlife that can’t defend itself against introduced predators.
One trap might seem small, but together they make a huge difference. 🐦🌿

Thanks to Predator Free New Zealand Trust we have secured funding to subsidise 100 traps into the backyards of Taradale residents.
