Carterton Rotary Christmas Parade The Rotary Club of Carterton, MORE FM and Wairarapa Times Age, bring you the Carterton Christmas Parade. We have prizes in all sections.

rterton Christmas Parade will be held on November 27th starting at 11:00am from Belvedere Road and will continue onto High Street in Carterton before turning left into Carrington Park where prize winners will be announced. Carterton District Council's Summer Street Party will be held in Carrington Park following the parade. Float Participants will be required to assemble along Belvedere Road at 10:15 for Judging. This years theme is "Santa's Workshop"

There are 3 categories in the Float section
1. 'Business': Large or Small
2. Non Business': Church Groups, Youth Clubs, Sports Clubs, Arts Groups, Service Groups, also Family Groups,
3. Schools, Colleges, Pre-Schools, Kindergartens, Play Groups, After School Groups. Sponsored by Rotary Club of Carterton, Wairarapa Times Age, Carterton New World, Premier Beehive NZ. Ltd., and Braiden International. Masterton Municipal Band, the Fern and Thistle Pipe Band and the Three Mile Brass Band will be playing and marching along with the parade. Vintage Cars, Trucks, Motor Bikes etc, will also take part. Anyone at all who would like to participate in any way, please contact:

Window Displays starting to appear

Three days until the Parade. A fourth band joined today with the Masterton Youth Brass Band being integrated into the starting plan for the Parade.
The local Schools and Preschools have confirmed that they will be parading.
Information about street closures:
Carterton Christmas Parade to be held on Saturday 22nd November 2025 with the floats assembling from 1pm and then the parade starting at 2.30pm.

Road closure from 1pm to 3.45pm:
• Broadway from Wheatstone to SH2

Road closure from 2.00pm to 3.45pm
• High Street / SH2 from Roundabout at Belvedere to intersection at High Street / Victoria St /
Wakelin St.
• Masson Street
• Memorial Square
Broadway and William Wong residents are receiving a letter tomorrow afternoon with information on how to get out through the closed roads and exit via Masson Street.
