The Nursery team are excited to be apart of this great community event.

Wainuioru Community River Care Group, Wainuioru School and Community Nursery along with The Wairarapa Catchment Collective is excited to be working with Joe Potangaroa and Ed Beetham to host our community a hīkoi through sites of significance in the Wainuioru Catchment.
This is shaping up to be a really special day out, with visits to pā sites, the Brancepeth homestead, and Ngāumu Forest.

The hīkoi will be open to landowners, whānau, and anyone connected to the Wainuioru catchment who is keen to learn more about the history of the area.

Join us at 9:30 am Sunday 24th May at Brancepeth Station for a full day adventuring the catchment. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
