Carterton Little Theatre was founded in 1948 by Canon Stent, before evolving into Carterton Amateur Dramatic (CAD) in 1952. With a 1983 fire destroying the Belvedere Rd premises Phoenix Theatre Wairarapa Inc.,arose relocated, in Holloway St. 2011 saw Phoenix Theatre's home demolished to be replaced with a new 300 seat theatre and a new name - Limelight Theatre Company Inc.

Unfortunately, due to the weather and cast stuck in Martinborough we have had to cancel tonight's show. Thank you to the Wairarapa Events Centre for contacting the ticket holders and rebooking for other nights. Dr Jacobs - Psychiatrist using forensic psychology to profile Jack the Ripper. The original case is credited with starting the criminal profiling field, particularly through the efforts of Dr. Thomas Bond.

Inspector Frederick Abberline - Was an original lead detective in this case. He was promoted to Chief Inspector in 1890, retiring two years later to be a private detective.

Come along and see the two of them try to figure out the clues and pinpoint who he might be.

The Whitechapel Vigilance Committee was formed on the 10th of September 1888, to assist the police in their investigation into Jack the Ripper. They also patrolled the streets to help keep the locals safe. Key members were:
George Lusk, Chairman and builder/decorator – Butcher in our story
Joseph Aarons, Treasurer and pub owner
B. Harris, Secretary
