Blanket making is a remarkable endeavour for any crafter. What size it ends up being, how heavy they are, which colours go together and will you end up playing yarn chicken? Seriously it is not for the faint of heart. But our crafters are up to the challenge.
These blankets went to Kiwi Community Assistance, ready to provide comfort. colour and warmth.

A pure wool baby singlet is a fantastic addition to any little ones wardrobe. Worn over a cotton onesie, they keep the core warm while baby is still learning how to regulate their own temperature. Rib stitch makes them stretchy but snug and able to grow with baby. This photo was part of a bundle of baby knits that went to Wellington Hospital Maternity.

The August Summary of Awesome includes a phenomenal 756 daffodils made for Cancer Society Greater Wellington and over 44kgs of repurposed warm winter clothing kept out of landfill.

Twiddle muffs, no two are the same but all are made with care and attention by our crafters. Picking interesting yarns and arranging the doodads to entertain, each one has had a loving amount of thought and dilligence go into its creation.
