Get involved in Smash Play this summer. 🏏 ☀️

Smash Play is the first step on a pathway that can lead to a lifelong involvement in cricket.​​​​​​

Smash Play is an introduction to the basics of the game for Year 0 - Year 2 (5 & 6 year olds).

Children will develop a range of fundamental skills – such as throwing, catching and striking a ball while playing a variety of fun activities, drills and games.

All gear is provided.

Taita Cricket will run Smash Play sessions each Saturday morning at the Ricoh Indoor Centre from 9-10am each morning of the summer. (Break over school holidays)

...we've added something new 😊

We’ve converted an existing area at Fraser Park Events into our new Indoor Flexi-Zone.

It’s the size of two standard squash courts, with beautiful high-quality wooden court flooring and a movable wall so you can hire it as a full space or half space.

It's already being put to good use, with fitness, dance, yoga and martial arts groups loving the new space,

A small but very important note — black-soled shoes and anything that could damage the wooden floor aren’t permitted.

And don’t forget about our other indoor all-weather training space, the Indoor Activity Zone, used for cricket practice, football, team training, skills sessions, marching practice, sports programmes, holiday activities and plenty more.

And best of all, you can now check availability and make bookings yourself - click on the BOOK NOW button on our website and you will be taken straight through to the booking system.

🎉 Our new Fraser Park Events website is LIVE and so is the booking system!

From the website, you can go straight into the booking system, create an account and see whether your preferred space, date and time are available. All you have to do is click BOOK NOW.

Some spaces can be booked instantly online, while others require you to send us a booking request. This is simply because our member clubs have priority booking for some of our sports spaces.

Some of you are already set up in our booking system, while others will be creating an account for the first time.
