The 2026 Complex Regional Pain Syndrome awareness event has come to a close, with Bombsquad emerging as the victor and retaining the shield. The two crucial points they secured proved pivotal in their success, enabling them to claim the top Stableford points. Despite a full field of competitors, Bombsquad's exceptional skill and dedication ensured their triumph, resulting in the shield's return to the office for another year. The GB would like to extend their appreciation to key sponsors, including Tatana Contracting, Te Taniko Toa whanau, Raukawa, Thermosash, Mana eats, volunteers and Levin Golf Club, for their support in making this event a success.

As the weekend approaches, the bomb squad will safeguard the shield and return it to the office. Concurrently, they will participate in a greens competition to raise awareness for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). We extend our gratitude to the Tatana whanau for their unwavering support of GB U-Matter's initiatives in Horowhenua.

As the weekend approaches, the bomb squad is prepared to return the U-matter shield to the office. As they defend the shield on the greens over Anzac weekend, we raise awareness for CRPS - Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. What an incredible day at Foxton Golf Club!
A massive thank you to everyone who made our Golf Brothers Hauora Day such a special and successful event.

To all our players, captains, teams, and supporters – your energy, laughter, and sportsmanship made the fairways come alive. From the early morning BBQ to the final putt, every swing represented connection, community, and wellbeing.

A heartfelt acknowledgement to our sponsors and supporters who stood behind this kaupapa – your generosity and belief in what we’re building made this all possible. Every polo, prize, and shared meal was a reflection of your support for Hauora in action.

To our services and partners who joined us on site – MTA , Whatu Ora resource team, Pirianga Alofa,, and all wellbeing providers who showed up to tautoko our community – thank you for being part of something bigger than golf.

This kaupapa isn’t just about a game – it’s about connection, care, and community wellbeing.
We are already looking forward to what’s next for Golf Brothers, continuing to grow, connect, and make a positive impact through sport.
