Here's another one of the amazingly talented artist that will be joining us this Saturday for Arkrasier⭐

From the rolling hills of Waipukurau to the vibrant cities of Auckland and Sydney, NO-A’s musical journey is as dynamic as his roots. After years soaking up the beats in these iconic cities during the late 90s and early 2000s, this farmer boy turned DJ returned home in 2005 and began spreading the magic of house music.

NO-A’s passion for classic house tunes shines through in every set, where he blends deep, soulful beats that make you want to move and feel the rhythm from head to toe. With his love for music that speaks to both the body and soul, his sound is the perfect soundtrack for any party or occasion.
Whether it’s the laid-back vibes, underground festival or pumped up party, NO-A’s heart beats to the sound of house music and he’s ready to share that love wherever the dancefloor is .

⭐⭐CALLING ALL EMERGING DJS ⭐⭐

At Arkadien, we have always been about unearthing new talent and fostering emerging artists. Last year’s SOUNDRISERS night was a huge success, giving DJs who had never played a club or festival dance floor the opportunity to step up and showcase their sound. So, we are doing it all again with Arkadien: Soundrise, happening 20–22 November 2026.

A little note before you apply: there is no performance fee for this showcase. In return for playing, successful DJs will receive a full weekend pass to Arkadien, along with promotional support across our social channels. You’ll also need to make your own way to Hawke’s Bay, so please only apply if you’re prepared to accept all of these terms.

We’re looking for DJs who know how to carry a tune, work a dance floor and build a groove throughout a one-hour set. To keep things running smoothly, ensure seamless transitions between DJs, you won’t be able to bring your own gear. Our setup will be two Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS players with a Pioneer DJM-900SRT mixer, as well as a Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller, so please make sure you’re confident and competent playing on this setup with USBs only.

Genres we are looking for are the following: Bass Music (140bpm/UKG/Garage), House, Indie Dance, Tech House, Techno, Psy Tech & Trance and Melodic House and Techno.

Our music directors will curate the lineup across these sounds, creating a journey from ascension to descension. The dates of play are Friday 20th Nov. from 7pm - 7am Saturday 21st Nov.

Please apply stating your interest by attaching your EPK (including a short bio, photos, and links to your socials and SoundCloud or Mixcloud pages) to [email protected] by putting 'SOUNDRISERS II' in the subject line.

If you are an EXPERIENCED DJ: do not apply for this showcase as it is purely for fresh and emerging talent who have yet to play in front of a festival dance floor. But if you have an interest in maybe one day playing at Arkadien because of all the amazing things you've heard, then please send your EPK to us here: .[email protected] by putting FUTURE FORWARD in the subject line.

Applications close Sunday 11 October

Thank you, and good luck!

One last hurrah at Common Room - so we've made it a goodie!

We have had some amazingly good nights in this space, and before we say goodbye to the legend that is Common Room, we are bringing a taste of the Arkadien community to the dance floor one more time.

This is not the full Arkadien experience… but it is a little glimpse through the looking glass. ✨ You will get a taste of the music, the stunning decor and the transfixing light shows Arkadien is known for. You will be able to see and feel the safety, love and light our community brings.

If you have never been to an Arkadien; get your ticket and come along. See for yourself what everyone raves about.

This Arkraiser is a TICKET ONLY event, so make sure you snap yours up as soon as you can.

ARKRAISER IS STILL ON ⭐

Common Room have kindly agreed to let us hold the event as a private event, meaning it won’t be affected by their recent announcement.

There is one important change though: it is strictly ticket holder only. That means there will be no door sales.

So make sure you round up your favourite dance floor companions, and get those tickets before they sell out.

Everyone experienced such an abundantly magical time at our last Arkraiser, that we must have one last dance floor moment before we disappear into the bush in November. ⭐

Join us for Arkraiser on Saturday 26th September. A one-night gathering of enchanting music, beautiful connection and community at Common Room, Hastings.

Our dance areas are renowned for humming with free and unabashed dancing, radiant smiles and an abundance of delightful dress-ups. The Arkadien atmosphere is always alive on the dancefloor.

Every ticket purchased goes towards the ongoing care and growth of Arkadien. Ensuring that future gatherings continue to evolve and thrive.

Arkraiser operates on a tiered pay-what-you-can ticket system, with a base price of $30. If you are able to contribute a little more, higher-tier ticket prices are available and deeply appreciated. Once again, we have opened up "in-spirit" tickets for those who can't attend but wish to contribute towards our fundraising efforts.

Can't wait to dance with you all again

CAN’T MAKE THE ARKRAISER? YOU CAN STILL BE PART OF IT ⭐️

We know not everyone can make it to the Arkraiser tomorrow. Maybe you are away, already committed elsewhere, life is doing its thing… or perhaps Common Room just isn’t quite your cup of tea 🫣

But if you still want to support Arkadien and help us get to November, you absolutely can.

We have opened up “In-Spirit” tickets for those who can’t attend but want to contribute towards our fundraiser.

This Arkraiser is a really important one for us. The funds raised tomorrow night will go a long way towards making sure November can go ahead so every ticket, every contribution and every bit of support genuinely matters.

You don’t need to be on the dancefloor to be part of the collective.
