Community Job Coach - Invercargill based
Fixed Term Position - 20-30 hours per week
About the role:
As a Community Job Coach you will play a vital role in supporting 18-24year olds find a pathway to employment, ensuring they have a voice in imagining the future they desire. You will be part of a service providing support to individuals, ensuring they have a pathway plan and help to implement that plan.
About you:
• Good humoured collaborator who problem solves and builds strong relationships.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with service users and their whanau.
• Experience in working in education, healthcare, or social services preferred.
• Can manage workflow, working independently and collaboratively as required.
• Ability to work in a culturally safe manner with service users.
• Full, clean NZ drivers license.
• Minimum of certificate or diploma level qualification in education or social services preferred.
• Ability to meet safety checking/Police Vetting (Children’s Act 2014) requirements.
