Not everyone is ready to jump straight into employment—and that's okay.

At Elevate, we provide free, personalised support to help young people build confidence, develop practical skills and take the next step towards employment, vocational training or further education.

Whether they need to build their work readiness or they're ready to start looking for work, we have a pathway to support them.

Ready for work—but need some support to get across the line?

Elevate’s Employment Navigator pathway provides practical, one-to-one support for rangatahi who are ready to pursue employment or training opportunities. 🔵

Work alongside Sarah, our Employment Navigator, to:

🔎 Identify suitable employment or training opportunities
🤝 Connect with employers, work experience and industry exposure
📄 Strengthen your CV, job-search and interview skills
💬 Build workplace confidence and communication
🧭 Overcome barriers that may be holding you back
🌱 Receive ongoing support as you settle into employment or training

Work Ready Essentials could be the right place to begin. 🟠

This pathway gives rangatahi the time and support to:

✅ Build confidence and work-ready routines
✅ Develop employability and communication skills
✅ Strengthen literacy and numeracy
✅ Gain licences, certificates and practical skills
✅ Prepare for employment, vocational training or further education

You’ll receive individual support from your Navigator alongside small-group learning, practical workshops and activities.

Our next Work Ready Essentials course starts on 10 August.

We offer two pathways:

🟠 Work Ready Essentials
For rangatahi who want to build their confidence, employability skills and work readiness before moving into employment, vocational training or further education.

🔵 Employment Navigator
For rangatahi who are closer to being work ready and want practical, individual support to find and pursue employment or training opportunities.
