So scary to think Christmas is so close, but we put this out now as we try to support whanau early in November to relieve holiday financial stressors.

Not all violence leaves bruises.

Sometimes it looks like: debt in your name, emptied bank accounts, ruined credit, no access to money or years of financial control.

Yet economic abuse is still invisible and misunderstood in Aotearoa. We want to change that.

Today we are launching our new movement, This is Violence, focused on raising awareness of economic abuse and to push for systemic reform to better support victim-survivors.
