🚲🚴ON THIS SUNDAY at Marlow Park, and the weather forecast is looking very good. 🌞 Helmet fitting/checks, Bike decorating, Bike servicing, Sausage sizzle. Spot prizes for whānau who arrive on their bikes. And now we can confirm we will have face painting too. 😃
Whānau Āwhina Plunket’s gazebo provides a safe and comfortable space for nappy changing and baby feeding, so you can bring your tiny humans along with your preschooler and primary aged children. 👶👧🤱

Doing lots of driving this School Holidays? The Drop-In Child Car Seat Clinic is operating from 9:30am to 3:30pm tomorrow, 08 October, and every Thursday at the Whānau Āwhina Plunket Hub in South Dunedin.
🚗🚕🚙🛻🚐 Get your child car seats installed, checked (some fees apply) and/or get some child car seat advice.
We have a dry/safe garage space to shelter us from all kinds of weather during your visit, so drive right in. We also have child car seat accessories like locking clips, extension straps (for top tethers) and anchor bolt kits for sale. 🙂

There was so much illness around last month, we thought we would hold another "Meet and Greet" session for any parents based in Warrington, especially those with babies and toddlers, but anyone with an under-five (or more than one!) is welcome, who would like to meet and connect with other families in the area.

Don't be shy - please come along and say hello - it will be very casual with plenty of toys and distractions available - and have a nice hot cuppa and biccie as well as a chat!

If there is enough interest we can look at putting regular meet-ups / a group in place, so if you're keen on this please turn up if you are able to!

It's school holidays and a lot of the usual groups and activities won't be running - but the East Otago Playgroup will be! 😄
There's also a whole pile of clothes and more left over from our yard sale at the weekend so come along and have a rummage and take away what you like! 😊

Older siblings are welcome, so if you need to get out of the house just come along and join us for the morning... plus there's still a whole load of tea, coffee and biccies from our Dunk Kit to demolish !!! ☕🍪

Who's up for a fun night out in Palmerston?! 🙋

Put together a quiz team (no more than 6 people), register (or just turn up on the night) and come along for a fun-filled evening on Tuesday 20th October - stretch those brain cells ❓⁉ and make sure to bring cash 🪙 to buy some raffle tickets 🎟 to win some awesome prizes!!! And all of this will help fundraise for Plunket to run community services in East Otago. 😊

We still have plenty of spaces left to fill on next week's First Aid evening course in Waikouaiti. This is a great low-cost opportunity to upskill or to refresh your first aid skills - really important skills for anyone who cares for babies or children.
