On Sunday Banks had a quiz night run by our very own Samantha Cooper (absolute legend). She put our general knowledge to the test in her competition of wits where only one could come out on top.

Well overdue but here’s Banks at Matariki Ball hosted by Deans.

On the first day Banks made their way over to Rimu Park where we participated in service around the park which included resurfacing the road, moving mulch, painting some fence posts and more.

On day two we were shoved in to a bus and van for a tour of the greater Christchurch areas finest establishments. Later on the in the day the ball began where Banks tidied up and showed off our ravishingly good looks to their fullest potential. We also had our very own Ben Kunath shave his head along with Mason, Callum and Jasper.

On the final day we were once again shoved into various vehicles this time to make our way over to the New Brighton Hot Pools to relax before being sent home.

Big thanks to Deans for hosting the event

Last night Banks had a joint night with Deans where made some pretty wicked hanging gardens. They proved to be harder to make than expected, really putting the challenge in challenge night but at least some of us now have some dope hanging gardens. If you’re interested in making one yourself get in contact with Daniel Ellis as he was the mastermind behind the project

Last night Banks talked about politics. We spent our time learning about how our voting system works and about the different parties, afterwards we all took a quiz to see which party best suits our beliefs. Some of us topped the end of the night with a couple games of secret hi**er while others went home.
