🏆 WE DID IT AGAIN! 🏆

Christchurch 35th Company Boys’ Brigade has once again defended our title as Best Footdrill (Novice Section) for 2025! 💪

This is our third win out of three entries (2021, 2024, 2025) - keeping a perfect winning streak! 🎉

Massive congratulations to all our Delta Section boys who trained hard week after week, rain or shine, and gave it their all on competition day.

Special thanks to Hong who took the lead in training this year, setting the bar high and guiding the boys with passion and discipline. 👏

Our mission is simple - to build Boys into Men, Men after God’s own heart. Victories like this are not just about trophies but about building character, discipline, and teamwork.

Parents, thank you for your support and for ensuring your boys turned up for practices. Together, we’ve made this possible!

What a night! Our Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade had an unforgettable experience learning about the biblical meaning of the red moon and the science behind how it happens. We explored how the Bible describes the blood moon as a sign of God’s power and a reminder that He is in control, while also discovering how a lunar eclipse makes the moon appear red when the Earth’s shadow covers it. It was a perfect mix of faith and science!

After our discussion, we eagerly headed out to the reserve, eyes scanning the sky, waiting for the moon to make its grand appearance. But… nothing. 😅 The clouds were playing hide and seek with us, and for a while, it seemed like we wouldn’t get to see anything at all. A little disappointing? Yeah, maybe. But we kept waiting, hoping for a glimpse.

And then—just as we were about to pack up and head back—the moon popped out from behind the clouds! 🌕🔥 The moment it appeared, the excitement was through the roof! The boys and girls cheered, pointed, and stood in awe at the glowing red moon. It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, God’s wonders come in His perfect timing, not ours.

Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to capture any pictures of our eager moon-watching crew, but here are a few blurry shots of the moon itself. (Trust me, the real thing was way cooler than these photos! 😆)

All in all, it was an amazing night filled with learning, laughter, and a bit of patience that paid off in the end. A big shout-out to all the boys and girls who stayed up and waited—you got rewarded with an awesome view! 🌌

Looking forward to our next adventure together! 🚀 Maybe next time to teach them to spot the Orion belt mentioned in the bible.
