Youth Fellowship 17th March 2025✝️🙌

Focus : WHO AM I IN CHRIST
First Lesson : Who is Jesus?

Key Verses :
1) Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 1:11)
2) Beatitudes & Believers are Salt and Light (Matthew 5: 1-16)
3) The Model Prayer (Matthew 6:5-15)

Main Points
1) Jesus when tempted taught us to Study the scriptures so that we can always apply the right ones to specific situations, strengthening our faith in God. Always go back to the scriptures!

2) Jesus came to give us our purpose, which is to preach the gospel to those who do not know it. But before that we need to establish a relationship with God. The light is of no use anymore when the darkeness itself becomes light. We can only give what we have. If we do not fulfill our purpose, we loose ‘our saltiness’ and become USELESS in the eyes of God

3) How we establish our relationship with God is through the WORD, PRAYER AND FASTING. Prayer builds communication and intimacy with God. And Jesus teaches us to build a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God. To shut the doors and have one on one time with him. Fasting allows us to focus more on God and rely more on the scripture.

4) Jesus prepared us because he knew his time to return to his father was near. But before he left he wanted us to understand what our purpose was. Jesus is a TEACHER, ALL KNOWING, GENEROUS, KIND, LOVING AND WORTHY
