New Stalking Law May 2026
The new stalking law is an important step forward. It recognises just how harmful stalking can be- not only for individuals, but for whānau and communities too.
Stalking can look different for everyone - whether it's constant messages, being followed or watched, or online harm like impersonation or sharing private information. Over time, these behaviours can leave people feeling unsafe, anxious and on edge.
For us at Project Esther, this is about more than law reform. It's about believing women, responding early, and making sure people can get the support they need when it matters most.

The lovely crew are in need of warm blankets, flannelette sheets (any size), and good‑quality jackets for women and children — including teenage boys.

Anything you’re able to spare would be so appreciated🥰

Kia ora e hoa mā, we have had a huge increase in demand for warm jackets and bedding and need your help!
We particularly need warm blankets and flannelette sheets in any sizes and jackets for women and children (including teenage boys) that are in really good condition.
