Baseball NZ are pleased to announce Dan Tan as Manager of the Diamondblacks for the 2026 tour. After leading the team as Interim Manager in 2025, Dan will officially take the reins as the Diamondblacks continue their journey on the international stage.

A respected leader within New Zealand baseball, Dan brings a wealth of experience, passion, and commitment to the programme. We look forward to seeing his vision shape the future of the Diamondblacks.

What an awesome morning at our MLB Play Ball Weekend! ⚾️🙌

The diamond was buzzing with excitement as young players from across Auckland came out to throw, hit, catch, run, and most importantly, have fun! Seeing so many kids giving baseball a go and loving every minute of it is exactly what Play Ball Weekend is all about.
