Want an EasyVote card? 👀 Then make sure you're enrolled and your details are up to date before midnight, Sunday 4 October - also known as writ day. If you enrol by this date, you'll be on the printed roll and get an EasyVote card.

You can still enrol or update your details up until midnight 25 October, but because you won't be on the printed roll, you'll have to do a special vote which takes a little bit longer.

It's quick and easy to enrol or update your details online at vote.nz/enrol if you have a NZ driver licence, NZ passport or RealMe verified identity.

If you don't have those things, all good - find other ways at vote.nz/other-ways - but because time is of the essence, we recommend emailing or uploading your completed forms rather than posting them back to us.

Paulette Tamati-Elliffe and Kiringāua Cassidy bring a unique intergenerational perspective to Māori language revitalisation. As mother and son, they represent both the foundations and future of the Kotahi Mano Kāika movement, which has helped restore te reo Māori to thousands of Ngāi Tahu homes. Together, Paulette and Kiringāua will share their experiences of raising, living, and thriving through te reo Māori, demonstrating the power of language transmission within whānau and the impact it can have across generations.
