School’s back and there’s a new kid on the block - Waha!
Our new civics education programme empowers high school students to see themselves as capable of making positive change in their communities. Waha was created alongside youth, teachers, and legal experts and supported by The Michael and Suzanne Borrin Foundation. Five South Auckland schools are piloting Waha in their year 9-10 classes during term two, and then it will roll out nationally. To find out more, check out www.waha.org.nz and follow Waha!
