As we look forward to a new year of riding, we wanted to share a special message that’s been waiting for the perfect moment.

Following the incredible success of our last ride, 𝗔𝗵-𝗟𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗭, recorded this heartfelt thank you to our community.

If you needed proof that the biking community has the biggest heart, you were there to see it. Every rider, volunteer, and spectator brought an infectious energy—making the day unforgettable for everyone. From the first engine start to the final sausage sold, your presence made a massive difference.

This event was powered by your passion and generosity, and for that, we are eternally grateful. Thank you for showing up, riding pink, and supporting this vital cause.

To all the wonderful riders who joined us for the 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 .

We sincerely apologise for the concerns you have raised regarding the speed of the ride. We understand that the slower pace caused undue worry about safety and that this detracted from your overall experience. Please know that we take all feedback, especially concerning safety, very seriously. Please provide your feedback to [email protected]

We are currently addressing this specific serious issue with the Police Tamaki Makaurau Operations Planning Coordinator and have requested a face-to-face meeting as soon as practically possible. Our goal is to understand what led to the decreased speed and ensure we take necessary steps to prevent this from happening in future events. Once we’ve had the meeting, we will provide a further update as soon as we can on the outcome and what has been put in place to ensure the Police will allow the bikes to ride at a safe, manageable speed. We want you to enjoy your Ride and be with us next year.

Despite the issues with the pace, we truly hope that you still had an enjoyable day and felt the incredible spirit of the ride. Your support and participation were invaluable, and together we made a significant contribution to the cause.

𝗪𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗶𝘁! We asked you to dress in pink and you looked amazing as you transformed the city into a vibrant sea of pink steel and leather. The weather was on our side, the community spirit was unbelievable, and your support truly EPIC!

This event was a massive success, all thanks to you, the biking community and all of our supporters for your unwavering dedication. You didn't just ride—you raised awareness and an incredible amount for a vital cause in our community.
