Baba Azimi Foundation (BAF) in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria (AAN), ActionAid UK (AAUK), GAGE and Girls Not Brides (GNB), will engage in a strategic discussion and dialogue on adolescent girls’ research and action. The conversation will spotlight girls’ leadership, voice and ownership within feminist participatory research and action processes, emphasizing the critical importance of creating safe, enabling spaces where girls can thrive with confidence and drive changes.
This engagement will underscore how intentional, girl-centered safe spaces empower adolescent girls to identify their priorities, articulate their lived realities, influence research agendas and drive transformative advocacy for social change. By centering girls not merely as beneficiaries but as co-creators of knowledge and agents of change, the discussion will advance practical pathways for strengthening feminist, locally rooted approaches that amplify girls’ power, resilience and collective action. Join the conversation at the Franks and Steel Rooms at the Wellcome Collection, London today at 2.00pm.
